Wucaitan
Wucaitan lies north of Burqin County, with the Irtysh River flowing alongside it. The northern bank features wind-eroded Yardang landforms, while the southern bank is a river valley forest belt. In autumn, late afternoon sunlight strikes at an angle, revealing distinct layers of rock colors. Walk along the wooden boardwalk to the viewing platform to see both banks; stay for about an hour around sunset.

Kanas Viewing Platform
The Fish Observation Platform sits atop the Halaqate Mountain on the west shore of Lake Kanas, at an elevation of about 2,000 meters. Reaching it requires climbing over 1,000 steps along a wooden boardwalk. As you ascend, watch the lake widen from a narrow stretch. From the summit, you can overlook the lake bay and Friendship Peak in the distance. Vegetation is lush from 6 to 9, and visibility is best in the morning when the mist clears.
